Visa Invitation Letters
Visa invitation letters
A visa invitation letter is a document sent by a Canadian host (invitor) to Canadian embassies or consulates worldwide to support the visitor visa application of a family member, friend, or business associate. If required by the relevant visa office, this letter should be notarized in Canada. The host must appear in person before a notary public and sign the letter.
The invitation letter must contain specific details about both the Canadian host and the visa applicant. For the host, the letter should include their full address, occupation, and status in Canada. Regarding the visa applicant, the letter should provide information such as their employment status, purpose of travel, address during their stay in Canada, visit dates, and passport details.
